Bosnia and Herzegovina Convertible Mark
BAM is the official currency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was established by the 1995 Dayton Agreement and is managed by the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The convertible mark is pegged to the euro at a fixed rate of 1.95583 BAM = 1 EUR, the same rate the German mark had before the euro. It is subdivided into 100 pfenig. The currency operates under a currency board arrangement with full foreign exchange reserve backing.
