DKK is the official currency of Denmark, Greenland, and the Faroe Islands. It's pegged to the euro within narrow bands as part of the ERM II mechanism.
The Danish krone is managed by Danmarks Nationalbank. Denmark voted against adopting the euro in 2000 but maintains close alignment with it through the exchange rate mechanism.
