JOD
Jordanian Dinar
JOD is the official currency of Jordan. It is issued by the Central Bank of Jordan and has been pegged to the US dollar since 1995.
The dinar is subdivided into 100 qirsh (piastres) or 1,000 fils. It has been pegged to the US dollar at 1 JOD = 1.41044 USD since 1995, making it one of the most stable currencies in the Middle East. The Central Bank maintains substantial foreign reserves to support this peg.
