KWD
Kuwaiti Dinar
KWD is the official currency of Kuwait. It is the world's highest-valued currency unit, issued by the Central Bank of Kuwait.
The dinar is subdivided into 1,000 fils and has been pegged to a basket of currencies since 2007. One Kuwaiti dinar is worth approximately 3.25 US dollars. Kuwait's substantial oil revenues and prudent fiscal management support the currency's strong value.
