LSL
Lesotho Loti
LSL is the official currency of Lesotho. It is issued by the Central Bank of Lesotho and is subdivided into 100 lisente.
The loti (plural: maloti) was introduced in 1980. It is pegged to the South African rand at a 1:1 rate, and the rand is also legal tender in Lesotho. This is facilitated by the Common Monetary Area agreement between Lesotho, South Africa, Eswatini, and Namibia.
