VND
Vietnamese Đồng
VND is the official currency of Vietnam. It is issued by the State Bank of Vietnam and has no practical subdivisions.
The đồng was unified in 1978 after reunification. Since 2003, polymer banknotes have replaced cotton notes. The đồng is one of the world's lowest-valued currency units. Denominations range from 100 to 500,000 đồng, with higher values most commonly used.
