THB
Thai Baht
THB is the official currency of Thailand. It is issued by the Bank of Thailand and is subdivided into 100 satang.
The baht was pegged to the US dollar until the 1997 Asian financial crisis, after which it floated freely. It is the tenth most frequently used currency globally and is informally accepted in neighboring Laos, Cambodia, and Myanmar. Current banknotes feature King Maha Vajiralongkorn.
