XCG

Caribbean Guilder

XCG is the official currency of Curaçao and Sint Maarten. It is issued by the Central Bank of Curaçao and Sint Maarten and is subdivided into 100 cents.

The guilder was introduced on March 31, 2025, replacing the Netherlands Antillean guilder at 1:1. It is pegged to the US dollar at 1.79 XCG = 1 USD. The 'X' prefix indicates a currency shared by multiple countries. Banknote designs feature Caribbean marine life and cultural landmarks of both islands.
