XPF
CFP Franc
XPF is the official currency of French Polynesia, New Caledonia, and Wallis and Futuna. It is issued by Institut d'émission d'outre-mer.
The CFP franc was created in 1945 and has been pegged to the euro at 119.3317 XPF = 1 EUR since 1999. CFP now stands for 'Collectivités françaises du Pacifique' (since 2022). The currency is not legal tender in mainland France and can only be used in the French Pacific territories.
