KHR
Cambodian Riel
KHR is the official currency of Cambodia. It is issued by the National Bank of Cambodia and is subdivided into 100 sen.
The riel was reintroduced in 1980 after the Khmer Rouge era abolished money. Cambodia operates a de facto dual-currency system with the US dollar widely used for larger transactions. In 2020, the National Bank launched Bakong, a blockchain-based digital currency.
