PLN
Polish Złoty
PLN is the official currency of Poland. It is issued by Narodowy Bank Polski (National Bank of Poland) and is subdivided into 100 groszy.
The word 'złoty' means 'golden' in Polish. The currency was redenominated in 1995 at 10,000 old złoty to 1 new złoty. It is the most traded currency in Central and Eastern Europe. While Poland is an EU member, it has not set a target date for adopting the euro.
