TND
Tunisian Dinar
TND is the official currency of Tunisia. It is issued by the Central Bank of Tunisia and is subdivided into 1,000 millimes.
The dinar was introduced in 1960, replacing the Tunisian franc at 1,000:1. It is one of few currencies divided into 1,000 rather than 100 subunits. The dinar is a closed currency—importing or exporting it is prohibited. The name derives from the Roman denarius.
