TTD

Trinidad and Tobago Dollar

TTD is the official currency of Trinidad and Tobago. It is issued by the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago and is subdivided into 100 cents.

The Trinidad and Tobago dollar was established following independence in 1962. All banknotes have been converted to polymer for enhanced durability. The Central Bank is exploring a central bank digital currency (CBDC) to enhance financial inclusion. The currency is influenced by the country's oil and gas exports.
